We’re excited to introduce Dependency Map 2.0, a major upgrade that unifies the user interface across Jira Data Center and Cloud. This release ensures a seamless, modern experience for all users, regardless of their Jira environment.

Why the New UI?

Dependency Map was initially launched for Jira Data Center (and Server) in 2019, with the Cloud version following in 2022. The Cloud release introduced a modern UI, built on Atlassian’s updated development platform. With Dependency Map 2.0, we’re bringing this same modern interface to Data Center customers, enabling:

  • Faster updates and improvements for all users.
  • Real-time feedback during map configuration—changes are rendered instantly, so you can see the impact of your adjustments as you make them.

This update ensures consistency, efficiency, and a better user experience across both platforms.
